The Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University (SRM University) is located at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The University was established on 1986 as SRM Engineering College in Kattankulathur, under University of Madras with offering various Undergraduate and postgraduate degree and diploma courses in various fields of Arts and Social Sciences, Commerce and Business Management, Engineering, Law, Science, Technology, Advanced Study in Education. It is a co-educational private university and formerly known as SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Every year a large number of students enrolled with the University in various courses.
