The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL, Mahavitaran or MahaDiscom) is responsible for distribution of electricity throughout the state by buying power from either MahaGenco, Captive Power Plants or from other State Electricity Boards and Private sector power generation companies. The Headquarters of the department is located at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is the second largest electricity distribution utility in the world after State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC). The department was established on June 06, 2005 by the Government of Maharashtra. The department has various units in all over state. Every year the department invites various notification for recruitment. Recently the department has been conducted the Mahadiscom AE JE AVO Jr Assistant Exam 2015 at various examination centers on 1st November 2015 as per scheduled timetable and now the attended candidates are waiting for Results 2015 Cut off Marks.
