The official website of the Punjab School Education Board is www.pseb.ac.in. It is a Governmental Board of Education. The board was established on November 25, 1969 under a legislative act of the Government of Punjab to administer the curriculum taught in public schools in the Punjab state. The Headquarters of the board is located at Ajitgarh, Chandigarh, Punjab, India. The board has various branches which are Academic Branch, Establishment, Administration, Conduct, Secrecy, Punjab Open School, Construction Wing, Account Branch, Affiliation Branch, Examination Branch, Computer Centre, Legal Cell, P.R.O, Verification and others. The board conducts standardized examinations in addition to conducting administration of scholarships, and publishing of textbooks. Recently the board was announced the notification for Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) Exam 2015 for Primary Teachers and Elementary teachers. The exam will be held for PSTET exam on 13th December 2015 at various examination centers so the boad has been announced the PSTET 2015 Admit Card. This admit card is available on its official website before 06th December 2015.
