The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) was established on 1 May 1960 as a government board of Gujarat. The board is responsible for determining the policy-related, administrative, cognitive, and intellectual direction the state’s higher educational system takes. The board conduct all school level exam. The Board also performs the duties of recognising new schools, performance evaluation of schools and inspections of various schools. The board conducts secondary and higher secondary examination for class X and Class XII every year.
