The Punjab Municipal Infrastructure Development Company (PMIDC) is a department which is located at Chandigarh, Punjab, India. The department was established as a non profit making company with an objective to uplift the living standards of urban population including urban poor in the State of Punjab. The objective of the department is to Promote creation, upgradation and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as water supply, solid waste management, sanitation, storm water drains, roads, bridge, street lighting, drainage, sewerage, sewerage disposal, transportation system, parking lots, shopping complex, industrial parks, trade centers, technology parks, slum improvement etc. Every year the department invites various recruitment notification for filling various posts. Similar to every year this year also the department was announced the notification for recruitment for Executive Officer,Class-I, II & Ill, Building Inspector (Technical), Chief Sanitary Inspector/ Sanitary Inspector, Si-Assistant/Inspector, Draftsman /Junior Draftsman, Accountant Grade-I & II /Divisional Accountant, Assistant Town Planner, Sub Fire Officer, Junior Engineer(Civil)/ Junior Engineer(O&M) (Civil), Assistant Corp. Engineer (Civil) / Assistant Municipal Engineer (Civil)/ Sub Divisional Engineer (Civil), Assistant Corp.Engineer (Electrical), Legal Assistant. After announcing the notification a large number of interested and eligible candidates have been filled the application form and now those all candidates was appeared in the written examination. This written examination was held on 7,8, 14 and 15 November 2015 in various examination centres. Now the all attended candidates are waiting for DLG Punjab PMIDC Result 2015. The department will soon announced the Result 2015 and Cut Off Marks And Merit List on its official website.
